After changing my mind [at the last minute] on my Mom's bday cake, I called the bakery on her bday to see if they had her fave-German Chocolate. They so did and she loved it!
Picked up a 1/2 dz doughnuts too! Delicious 😋

We ordered our wedding cake through Woodlea Bakery and we were so happy!!! Everything was to order and the cake came out amazing!!
They listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The cake was a hit and we really only had the top tier to take home as everyone enjoyed!!
I returned to them for other baked goods and haven't been disappointed. We will return for any other specialty needs as well as daily wants!!

There is a young lady by the name of Sydney. She is is so pleasant. She is new but is doing her best to learn. I would suggest instead of degrading your new employees..build them up. Put pricing on the shelves for THEM to see and practice pulling. But to talk to someone like they are nothing, is not only rude and not professional at all and in front of customers..I am glad I am religious. I would have cursed her out! You dont do that at all! That is someone's child and she was great! It took two of us to talk her and encourage her to keep going and she will be fine. Sydney you are awesome! The rest can kick rocks! I am a regular there but after that senerio...I dont know! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Apple, lemon, raspberry turn overs are legit. @ $1.60 a pop, best breakfast for the price. The apple dumpling is really amazing. There is a whole apple in there. All drenched in cinnamon and sugar, baked to soft deliciousness. When you dig out a chunk of apple and get a good chunk of crust, that my friend is a damn fine bite of food. It's bakery goods at its best. I also have strong feelings for the raspberry turnover. You should too.

First time here. Drove in from Joppa. My local bakery, Yia's Yia's, has let me down for the last time. Bought a Coconut Cake, Smearcase, Lemon Merengue Pie and assorted Pasteries for a tasting, before our family's Thanksgiving Family Feast. Had 8 of us make some hot coffee and start cutting. Everything was amazing. Cake was moist, Smearcase was perfect, not to sweet and very custardy. Lemon Merengue Pie was velvety smooth, with jyst the right bite. Overall, we are totally pleased and are planning to get lots of goodies in a couple weeks, and make Woodlea our new, go to bakery.

I usually get baked goods from here but today everything was really old. I got cupcakes the icing was hard and a really dry pecan pie. I go to bakeries because usually the goods were baked somewhat fresh... Not today I gave 5 stars because I owe this bakery a good review they're usually awesome... I'm just hoping it doesn't stay like this

Stopped by an old style bakery for some quick takeouts of old faves e.g coco egg custard pie, cherry and blueberry danish, apple fritters, cream puff and choco eclairs. Fritter was super with large applecchunks and raisinsm danish tasty and fruity. Reasonable prices and attentive counter staff. Also a cakeshop with lots of to go cakes and custom baked party cakes.
